 Player Profile and Overview

Coach Jim Crutchfield’s starting point guard for the last four years (two at West Liberty and two at Nova Southeastern), David completed his collegiate career with a 105-22 combined record and is one of only two players in NCAA history across all divisions with at least 1,800 points, 600 rebounds, 700 assists, and 300 steals in his career. David possesses tremendous basketball instincts and body control. He is always on balance and constantly keeps his defender guessing. He’s most comfortable playing at a fast pace, making things happen in transition and during defensive breakdowns. A heady, natural point guard on both sides of the ball, David led the Sunshine State Conference in assists, assist/turnover ratio, and steals in 2018-19, and will transition smoothly into the pro game because of his winning pedigree and experience playing in big games, having led his team to the D-II Elite Eight in both his freshman and senior seasons.
